What Are Risk Minimisation Materials (RMMs)?

For some medicines, the pharmaceutical company has a regulatory obligation to produce information for healthcare professionals and/or patients that will minimise the risk during use of a medicine. 

If any risk minimisation information is available, there will be a tab alongside the SmPC and PIL tabs at the top of the product page on the emc website

A list of medicines that have RMMs associated with them can be found by clicking on "Medicines" in the top navigation menu, then "RMM Directory" from the drop-down list
