You have the option to convert your uploaded PDF PIL into an ePIL. When selected, the PDF is converted into an accessible HTML format, improving usability (e.g. easier to read, search, and compatible with assistive technologies).
This step is optional and does not affect your ability to submit a standard PDF PIL. The process generates two outputs:
- The original PDF
- An ePIL version used to create the text-only (HTML) format
A Quality Check (QC) is performed to ensure accuracy and correct structure, with separate service levels:
- PDF: 1 working day SLA
- ePIL: 10 working day SLA
