How to Upload SmPCs

When you select the 'Upload Content' icon, you will be taken to the page where you can submit new or updated content

Please note that images within SmPC documents must be in PNG or JPEG format. Our conversion system does not support graphic formats (e.g. EMF). 

Select 'SmPC' from the drop down menu and follow the steps to complete your submission.

The steps you need to complete for uploading an SmPC are:

Content Type - Select PIL from the drop-down menu

Product Details - Input product name, links to materials on emc gb (e.g. user manual, DHPC), AMP and VMP (if applicable), etc

Add File - Upload the document (PIL as a PDF / SmPC as a Word document)

Content Details - Input document title (as written on the document itself), regulatory and licence approval information, etc  

Active Ingredients - Add actives

Reasons for Submission - Select from drop down list the reason for your submission

Submission - Summary page and confirm submission
