How Does emc pi portal Work?

emc pi portal consists of two websites, the submission site and the consumer site.

Submission site

Use this to create digital prescribing information

1. Create the Adverse Event reporting text - this can be used for all products or you can create multiple versions for use. For example, if you need reporting text for both branded and generic products, you will need multiple versions.
2. Create product PI
   1. Give the PI a title
   2. Assign an SmPC
   3. Add price
3. Publish the prescribing information - this will make it visible on the consumer site
4. Include the unique link into you digital promotional material

Consumer site

This is the destination site that will be viewed by HCPs and other users who follow the link from your digital promotional material

• Contains all information required by ABPI Code of Practice
• Familiar layout to those who already use the emc
• Always uses the most up-to-date SmPC
• Is not indexed by major search engines so will not appear in online search results
